Chyavanprash is Ayurveda’s best known tonic and this excellent version is by Dhanvantri Health based on a 2000 year old recipe, a very good blend of herbs, amla and cane sugar, clarified butter and honey.

A traditional organic rejuvenating and revitalizing elixir, made from more than 25 Indian herbs. Use to increase resistance to infectious diseases. It rejuvenates all the tissues, increases strength. Helps to facilitate recovery from illness and stress. This unique ‘jam’ is a mix of 49 powerful ayurvedic herbs with ‘amla’ (Indian gooseberry) as the base. The other ingredients in this traditional recipe include ashwaganda, pippali, cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon in a base of clarified butter and honey. This magic elixir is good for all, irrespective of age and gender, and creates a harmonious synergy in the body leading to better metabolism with some very specific health benefits.

Collecting the best amla and after cleaning them thoroughly removing the stones.
Getting them processed for mixing with cane sugar and simultaneously adding rest of the ingredients.

Boiling them all upto a certain point to get rid of all the moisture and forming it into a jam like consistency.

Straining this through meshed sieves to obtain the correct consistency.

This recipe was created thousands of years ago as a rejuvenating elixir by the ancient sage Chywana. Literally translated as “Chywana’s jam” this rich paste contains some of Ayurveda’s most nourishing herbs including Amla Fruit or Indian ‘Gooseberry’ – a potent natural source of vitamin C and anti-oxidants.
